About

There is little doubt that humanity is on the way to its own extinction, if we don’t rapidly and drastically embrace a fundamental change of basically every aspect of the currently destructive, exploitative, suppressive, paternalistic trajectory we are on. Its manifestation, our capitalistic system, only aims at making a handful of people insanely rich and powerful while sacrificing humanity and the ecosystems of our planet in the process.

But what does it take to change? Who do we need to become? Which decisions do we have to take? How far out of our comfort zone do we have to step? We all agree change must happen. We can all see the shared vision of a peaceful, regenerative and benevolent global community, but we don’t yet know how to transition into it.

To act fast and efficiently, we came to realize that we need to come together and share our experiences and learnings, as we will be able to iterate prototypes and models based on our collective shared knowledge, instead of tackling wicked problems in disconnection and isolation. We just don’t have the time for ownership and patents anymore and we find it quite liberating, that competition will eventually be replaced by cooperation.

This website is an ongoing process of collecting theories, ideas and conversations to address this question from different angles, as well as projects that have already been initiated, offering an archive to draw inspiration from for your individual exit strategy.

This plattform is an initiative of Supernova Institute, kicked off in a seminar with art and design students from weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. The goal is to build an archive of best practices, knowledge and resources, of becoming a hub for holistic exchange and transformation and to grow a global, connected community of people who have stepped into the understanding of the necessity of acting responsibly and with integrity in the best interest of all humanity. We aim at jointly generating ideas, blue prints and solutions for small, local and community-driven interventions towards regenerative, reductive and equality-driven steps into a future we want to live in and pass on to the next generations.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for your leader.

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
